Superior Welding Supply Co. is an independent, locally owned distributor, with over 93 years of business experience. We provide welding equipment, industrial, medical and specialty gases, safety equipment and related supplies. Our headquarters is located in Waterloo IA, with branch stores in Des Moines IA, Dubuque IA, and Marshalltown IA. We also have over 40 “stock points” throughout our territory, including WI and IL. Our customer base ranges from small welding shops to large corporations.
As a distributor, we are constantly looking for ways to add value to your bottom line. At our Waterloo plant we fill argon, carbon dioxide, helium, oxygen, nitrogen, propylene, and many mixes of these gases. We deliver cylinders to our other locations twice a week. The ability to fill our own cylinders ensures that our customers get the product they need in a timely manner, and at a lower cost. For those customers that require special mixes (i.e. EPA), we can easily obtain these from one of our suppliers. We make it possible for our customers to have one supplier for all of their gas needs.
We do our best to keep you up to date by featuring the latest technology in welding, including robotics, and in cutting equipment, including plasma & laser. We strive to be the leader in our field by offering the complete package; from gases and equipment to training and support. We have two highly trained service technicians to assist you with training programs or troubleshooting, as well as tech and service support. Superior Welding Supply Co. is an authorized service center for Miller, Lincoln, and Hypertherm equipment. We also offer rental equipment for use on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
